One-time non-refundable fee to reserve a room
There is a one-time non-refundable fee to reserve a room. This fee covers the costs of preparing for the new resident. These costs may include the following preparations that are often necessary when moving in a new resident:
- Getting the room ready for the new resident
- Coordinating transfer arrangements, if needed
- Completing and collecting paperwork for the resident's file
- Preparing the resident's care plan
- Setting up of the pharmacy for medications
- Training the staff for medication management and for care that is specific to the new resident
Optional Services Available
There are a number of optional services for our residents that are available at an additional fee. Those services include the following:
- A local Primary Care Physician makes routine medical visits to see their patients in house.
- A RN makes routine visits to perform toenail cutting and foot care.
- A beauty shop provides shampoo and hair styling weekly. Other hair services are offered such as perms, a cut and color.
- Transportation is provided to and from appointments. The rates vary, and advance scheduling is required.
- Meals with your loved one may be arranged. There is a nominal cost and reservation required.
Rates & Payment
Our daily base rate starts at $134.00 for a private room and $104.00 for a semi-private room. Depending on the level of care, the rate may be higher based on the score of the Resident Assessment. We accept private pay and residents that are on the CCSP waiver program. Silver Linings is a CCSP provider. Other contributing funding sources may include long term care insurance policies held by the resident and Aid and Attendance funds from the Veterans Administration.
